Meet The One - Single's Conference
January 16-17, 2009

No doubt about it single adults are making up a growing proportion of every Christian fellowship. Unfortunately it is the exception rather than the rule that singles are considered in the planning of ministry in the church. The church is predominantly a couple and family oriented environment.

Many people view Single's ministry as a forum where singles can meet and find their life partner, yet there are so many more possibilities when singles ministry is viewed as a place where singles connect, heal, are equipped and empowered in their lives.

There are seasons in the year when being single is harder than others especially in these times of economic down turn and recession in society, Christmas and the cold days of winter often bring depression and isolation. This conference is strategically timed to correspond with this time to bring joy and inspiration to conference participants.

This conference celebrates what singles bring to the church. We are coming together to Meet The ONE (God) and learn together about issues that touch our lives. This is the first conference of its kind in Calgary and Christian singles are invited to come worship together, fellowship, deal with issues in workshops, and hear great speakers.
