Times Of Refreshing T. V.

“Repent, therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord." Acts 3:19

In August of 1998, Pastor Craig Buroker and Southside Victory Church launched a television show entitled "Times of Refreshing" on CJIL, The Miracle Channel (based in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada). This twenty-four-hour Christian TV Station (the first in Canada) airs Times of Refreshing worldwide through select broadcast carriers and the Internet.

The purpose of Times of Refreshing is for the teaching and impartation of revival and the present prophetic move of God happening in the Body of Christ. With revival taking place in the Church today many church leaders and congregation members are asking a multitude of questions. What can I do to see revival in my church? How can I deal with things I don't understand or can't control? What do I do when God seems to be doing something unusual? Answering these and the many questions resulting from what God is doing today, Times of Refreshing provides not only a theological framework for the move of God, but also brings an impartation of the refreshing of God over the airwaves.

Beginning from a local television station in the small city of Lethbridge in the 1980's, CJIL is seen throughout Canada and the world. A major breakthrough occurred in January, 2000 when they were approved for satellite carriage. Times of Refreshing is blessed to have benefited from CJIL's status as a small local station in 1998. Now its message goes across Canada and beyond, thanks to satellite coverage.

Today, Times of Refreshing enjoys increasing publicity and momentum. Originally funded by Southside Victory Church, today it is now supported entirely by our partners and viewers from British Columbia to Newfoundland.

Pastor Craig visits the CJIL station every four to six weeks to tape the next set of shows and encourages people to come to the studio, sit in the sessions, and pray during the recordings.

As God continues to bless Times of Refreshing we are experiencing a tremendous response from people all across Canada who have been ministered to in tangible ways by what they have seen.
